Another altered chipboard dress form by Maya Road. This one was a lot of fun to create. I made the hula skirt from rafia I found at Hobby Lobby. Adding those beads to the skirt - oh, I'm not sure I want to do that again! What was I thinking? LOL That was a test of patience for sure. Don't try this at home kiddies. hee hee
Bra: My first idea for the bra was to use sea shells. I had to scratch that idea when my shells were either too small or too big. Plan B was to go with the coconut bra. I painted wooden half balls with brown acrylic paint and then sprinkled them with brown flocking. They turned out pretty good with a rough texture very much like real coconuts.
Lei: I punched several flowers with a mini paper punch and strung them on dental floss with a bead in between.
Flip Flops: The little flip flops came from a bead package I found at Dollar Tree. Yay, I finally found a use for them after having them in my stash for so long. LOL
Thanks for looking!
